The Aims of the Club

  1. Maintain the traditions of the University and town of St. Andrews

  2. Uphold and improve Town and Gown relations

  3. Raise money for local charities

Events

  • Each Spring, the Club organises the annual Kate Kennedy Spring Procession. The Spring Procession traces its roots to ancient, medieval, pagan, and Christian spring rites, with fifers commemorating "Cath Cinneachaidh."

  • The Kate Kennedy Club runs this torch-lit procession, taking place on the eve before May, in remembrance of John Honey.

  • The Kate Kennedy Club organises 3 student balls which raise money for charity each year: Opening Ball, May Ball, and Procession Ball.
